I was trying to sell my property By Owner off Zillow at a slow time of the year and was looking for A Buyer’s Agent at one point. I received many phone calls I was almost regretful I posted this request. I did take the calls which I thought would be a good first step to move the property with some incentive. Chis Schwartz was one of the calls I received.
We talked and I found him unlike the other’s I spoke with. Immediately I found him professional, patient and there was Absolutely No Pressure and he was so calm. Then I heard a little girl’s voice in the background, he excused himself for a moment to take care of his little girl. For me as a Mother I found this incredibly endearing as he said that he had just picked her up from day care and he was taking care of her while Mom was at work. I could hear his kindness. Even with a Potential New Client on the phone. I have to tell you this Blew Me Away from the Get Go!
I instantly decided I like This Guy! Working tenaciously and on Dad Duty. I worked from home for years and I know personally how hard it is to maintain your patience with a child at home when you are working from home.
I Made My Decision. Chris convinced me easily to be his agent. Not a Buyer’s Agent, but to list the property with him. I agreed and I just want to say that there was never a moment of Regret. This young man has More Knowledge than Integrity then some of the agents with years and years of Experience!!
From the beginning I knew he was Special, Determined, Kind and Oh So Calm and Understanding – Never Felt Pressured Ever! He held Open Houses regularly and always so very prompt to communicate and always so incredibly responsive, with Honesty and Sincerity Always!
Even when it came to issues I wasn’t comfortable with OR overly emotional over the pressure of selling a property. I even cried on the phone to him a couple times and he was Amazing and So Understanding!!! Emotional and crying to your Realtor can be quite embarrassing to say the least! Yet, Chris Schwartz said and did everything Without Pressure and with such kindliness.
Multiple offers all at one time can be some Serious Pressure on Many Levels as a Buyer or a Seller. He was On the Mark with Everything!!!! Extra Ordinarily Professional at Every Level – Always!
Offers, decisions, questions, anticipation and again the emotions on my side. Chris had all the proper accurate. Knowledgeable, thoughtful responses. When we received an offer that had an Amendment that was questionable and unusual, he reached out to the broker’s legal department to obtain accurate answers.
Then, after accepting an offer and going through the inspection period and on the final day……we had the Most Unusual incident. Nothing to do with the 1970’s Condo inspection report. An Address Issue. All of the Unities we under one address that did NOT match the Tax Records. The Buyers wanted the issue corrected. IF it couldn’t be corrected they wanted to back out!
This Error was discovered when they attempted to change the Utilities to their names after the inspection went well. I knew about the problem as I found out – but after closing on the property when I attempted to change the utilities to my name after closing. I had made great strides to correct it without success. To add additional stress it was the weekend, and unless it is an Emergency they are closed. I work Full Time as most due, I asked for a day off to remedy during working hours. Extraordinarily upsetting because I knew I was unsuccessful getting it corrected! Monday, Chris Schwartz spent the entire day resolving the issue. VIOLA!!!! He fixed it!!!! The ISSUE was a Typo with the County Records! The Utilities had always been correct when I attempted to fix the Error. I NEVER thought it would be the County Records. Chris made the correction and it posted on the County Records within 24 Hours! I was Flabbergasted to say the least.
So, IF YOU WANT TO TALK ……..About Going Above and Beyond??? This AMAZING YOUNG man DID! Chris Schwartz Actually Saved the Deal and I didn’t have to take the day off OR Lose the Sale!!!
