Selling a home is rarely just a transaction, especially when it's a 275-year-old historic house that has been part of your life for many years. Carla Mascaro understood that from the very beginning. She had a clear vision for how to present the house, selecting an exceptional photographer whose work captured its character beautifully. Before every showing, she arrived early to make sure everything was in place, allowing us to step away knowing the house, and every detail, was being thoughtfully looked after. What stood out most, though, was her steady presence throughout the process. She communicated clearly, stayed ahead of issues before they became problems, and kept everyone—from buyers to attorneys to agents—moving in the same direction. When something needed attention, she never hesitated to rearrange her schedule to make it happen. Real estate transactions have a way of producing unexpected turns. Carla met each one with professionalism, sound judgment, and a reassuring sense of calm. We always felt informed, well represented, and confident that she was looking out for our best interests. I recommend her wholeheartedly.

Working with Carla on our home purchase in Salisbury was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Buying a home can be stressful and overwhelming, but Carla made the entire process feel seamless and organized. She always had the answer! What stood out immediately was Carla’s deep knowledge of the local market and her ability to guide us with confidence and honesty every step of the way. She was incredibly responsive, patient with our questions, and always made us feel like we were her top priority. Her attention to detail and professionalism gave us complete trust throughout the transaction. Beyond her expertise, Carla brought warmth, style, integrity, and a true passion for helping her clients. She advocated for us at every stage, anticipated issues before they arose, and handled every interaction with grace and skill. We always felt informed, supported, and well represented. Thanks to Carla, we not only found the right home, but we also felt confident and cared for throughout the entire journey. We could not recommend her more highly to anyone looking to buy or sell a home in Salisbury or the surrounding area. She is truly outstanding at what she does.

Selling a family home is always difficult, but the unexpected death of my brother and my planned move to Maine compounded the challenge. Carla gently guided me through the process with professionalism and empathy. She was always generous with her time and talent in staging the house, determining the listing price, marketing, and whatever else needed doing. She was responsive to all my concerns and questions, and I know that she always had my best interests at heart. I highly recommend Carla!

Carla was great throughout the process. After the initial contact she spent significant time discussing the pros and cons of renting the guest home on my property to help me decide if this was something I really wanted to do. I felt no pressure to list quickly during this process. Once the decision was made she thoroughly reviewed the property and the current rental market in the area. Carla has great eye for design and offered many suggestions on staging and presentation. Unlike other realtors I have worked with who made suggestions but never showed up to help make it happen, Carla was here often and put in hours of work uncluttering and making the place welcoming. So nice in fact that I considered moving into the guest house and renting the main farm house. She suggested a rental price that may have been a slight reach, near the top of comparable properties. She was great at comparing properties and making the case for a full price rental. She always communicated about showings and clients comments which allowed us to make a few more small improvements along the way. The result was finding tenants at our asking price in a reasonable amount of time. Would highly recommend Carla Mascaro and William Pitt for your real estate needs here in Washington Depot.

I can’t even begin to express our gratitude to Carla. We recently had a house fire and needed to find a temporary residence for the next year while they rebuild our home. Carla Mascaro didn’t just find us a place to live - she found us a a tranquil haven to regroup after such a tragic loss. She was there every step of the way - searching the area for the right place and then working with our insurance company to make everything go smoothly. Her care for our well being was genuine and far surpassed what one would expect from a realtor. Thank you Carla for all you have done for our family, it is greatly appreciated.

Carla is absolutely amazing to work with and we couldn’t recommend her more!! Her attentiveness and attention to detail is unsurpassed. Any question we had was answered quickly and her efficiency is unlike any other agent we have worked with in the past. We couldn’t recommend her more and are thankful to have worked with her and will most certainly be working with her again!

Working in real estate in New England is quite challenging. The majority of people searching for new exciting accommodations are overwhelmed and extremely busy. I can admit to being one of them. Carla’s superb management of the situation in which I found myself was quite exceptional. I am far from easy, a bit off the beaten path and very very limited with time. Carla was extremely accommodating and charming. Her communication left nothing misunderstood or unclear. She is persistent in a way that is encouraging and supportive. Carla’s temperament will bode well for her in this difficult profession in Litchfield County, Connecticut. I strongly support her and encourage anyone interested in real estate to add her to your list of “people to know”. Thank you Carla. Ellen
