It was great to work with Barbara on my mother's sale. As a Realtor myself, Barbara has become a trusted referral partner with clients I am unable to service myself. And she provided an integral part when working with my family and mother's Trust sale. Closed early, smooth escrow, streamline negotiations, clean paperwork, and a friendly agent just a phone call, email or text away when I needed to reach her. And she connected us with a great attorney to help guide us through proper recordation's, advice and paperwork. I also have clients she has worked with that love the service and friendship she offered. Give Barb a call - - she may likely be a great agent for you! Erik Maliska, Realtor

Working with Barbara Gerland was fantastic. Not only was she a true professional, she became our friend. Always available on any day and at any hour. She kept us informed and up to date during the entire process. Loved working with Barbara! Craig and Sharon

Always available. Professional and efficient .

Barbara is my "Go To" Realtor in the Tahoe Area. This was my fourth transaction with her. We went from listing to close in less than a month! Barbara took care of everything: inspections, repairs, housekeeping, and of course the mountain of paperwork real estate in California and Tahoe requires. Always available by phone, text, or email and always follows up on issues promptly. I highly recommend Barbara for your Lake Tahoe area Realtor.

Barbara Gerland is fantastic. She helped me sell my house in South Lake Tahoe. I know real estate agents determine the sales price for the house, listing the house, negotiating offers, etc. And Barbara did all of this. But this doesn't even begin to describe how above and beyond Barbara went as agent. My house had a couple of hiccups. It was being stubborn. We had a situation where one of the window latches had come off. I asked my former contractor (who had overseen the installation of the windows many years ago) to take a look at it and see what could be done to fix it. I wasn't asking him to fix it; I just wanted to know his recommendation. The only thing he said was, "yep, it's broken." Barbara went to the window and glass store where the windows had been purchased and spoke to the owner about it. The owner sent someone out to the house to make sure it was not an installation error from them. Turns out it wasn't. Barbara coordinated all of the required inspections, hired a handyman to fix the window latch; had him paint the inside of the house and many other miscellaneous things that needed to be done to get the house ready to sell. Barbara always kept me in the loop with updates on the status of the house and explained the numerous amounts of documents I needed to sign or initial. We would talk on weekends and nights. Real Estate Agents are really on-call doctors who have to be ready to make decisions or trouble shoot problems at a moment's notice. Barbara worked her ass off. She really went above and beyond. We developed a great rapport. You really get to know a person when working so closely with them for 3 or so months. I wish I had more houses for Barbara to sell as I am already missing our many phone calls and texts each day. But I'm very happy I have gained a friend for life! Sincerely, Marianne Boudreau

Barbara is both professional and personal. She listens to our needs and try to market the house accordingly. She is always very encouraging and easy to talk to. I have known her for 20 years and I highly recommend her to anyone with the need to either buy or sell a property!

Working with Barbara was an absolute pleasure throughout the entire process. Her expertise and dedication were evident from the start, especially when navigating the complexities of buying vacant land. Despite the challenges we faced in determining the land's suitability, she went above and beyond to ensure every detail was meticulously examined and addressed. I highly recommend Barbara to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and trustworthy real estate professional.
