Earlier on in my home search, a friend referred me to a realtor (Not Tim/ Not Dielmann/ Sothebys). I wanted to see a house and the guy basically told me he would set up a showing for me until I was preapproved. I mean he flat out wouldn't show me one and was trying to use high pressure sales tactics to get me to rush and get preapproved with this mortgage company contact. I was very early on in my search and wasn't sure if I wanted to buy or continue to rent but needed to see some houses and condos to help me make that decision. I was not ready to get preapproved at that time. The guy wouldn't budge so I just paused on any house hunting thoughts. When I met Tim, he told me sure he would help me look and set up some things for me to see. He NEVER pressured me about pre-approval first and NEVER made me feel like I was wasting his time. He also never pressured me to use a referred mortgage company. He simply offered options. It took a while and we looked at a lot of houses. I finally found the one, got approved, put an offer in and that is the home I got!! The funny thing is the original realtor called me back last month to see if I was still interested in home buying. I told him thank you but Ive gone in a different direction and there was no need to call me any longer. That different direction was Tim Gunter at Dielmann Sothebys!
