Stanton is hands down the best real estate agent in the Greater DC area. If you are planning to sell your property and are lucky enough to work with Stanton, you will be in great hands. Stanton combines a deep knowledge of the local housing market honed over decades in the area, impeccable instincts and an eye for design related to positioning/staging etc your home to command a top premium, and excellent negotiation skills. He understands the nuances of timing and building competitive tension in a way that enabled me to sell my cherished condo for a premium above all the comparables in the area even in the height of the pandemic. Not only is he a master of his craft, Stanton is a joy to work with at all points in the process. He is attentive to your preferences, while offering value-adding ideas and insights, and I was amazed at how he repeatedly went above and beyond the call of duty. As I am living overseas, Stanton handled all manner of logistics related to disposal of items, managing contractors, an emergency weekend HVAC repair, and somehow softening up a sclerotic building management bureaucracy to expedite processing and delivery of the condo financial docs once we had multiple buyer offers. I should add that Stanton helped me purchase the condo 8 years ago (as a first time home-buyer) and was my trusted advocate throughout. As a now-seller, Stanton exceeded even my already high expectations. I would never use or recommend anyone else and I have referred him to friends over the years who have had similarly excellent experiences.
