We could not have asked for a better real estate agent than Meriwether Gill. She represented us in the sale of our home, and she went above and beyond our expectations in every respect. What impressed us most was how incredibly proactive she was throughout the entire process. Meriwether was constantly thinking about how best to market the house and what we could do next to generate interest. Every week, without fail, she reported back to us on what had happened during the previous week, what she was seeing in the market, and what the plan was for the week ahead. We never had to wonder what was going on or chase her for information. After every showing, she actively followed up with the buyer's agent to get meaningful feedback—not simply whether the buyers liked the house, but what their concerns or objections were and whether there was an opportunity to address them. She was always looking for a solution and for the next thing we could do to move the sale forward. Her attitude throughout the process was unfailingly positive, practical, and solution-oriented. Her initial pricing analysis was spot on, but we happened to list just as the market was changing rapidly. Rather than simply sticking with the original plan, Meriwether recognized what was happening, helped us understand the changing market, and counseled us through the adjustments we needed to make. We always felt that her advice was thoughtful, informed, and focused on getting the best possible outcome for us. Selling a house can be stressful, particularly in a changing market. Having an agent who communicates exceptionally well, takes initiative, follows through, and continually thinks about what to do next makes an enormous difference. Meriwether did all of that and more. I could not recommend Meriwether more highly. If you are looking for an agent who will truly work for you rather than simply list your property and wait for something to happen, she is exceptional.
