My wife and I were living in NC but thinking about purchasing a second home/retirement home in Florida and decided on the Port St Lucie area as the most suitable location. We had sold a home in Jacksonville using Watson Realty and they referred us to Maria, a local realtor in the PSL area. This was in early 2017. We told Maria upfront that we were not in a rush to purchase and we finally closed on a property on 12/28/18. Throughout the process Maria displayed professionalism and patience. When we finally decided on a property in early 2018 she helped us negotiate a very fair purchase price while providing us with guidance on options that would provide us with the most cost effective benefit. Whenever we visited the area Maria would meet with us so we could discuss updates or give us information about the local area. While living out of state Maria was our local contact with our builder and provided needed updates during the building process. Our original closing date was delayed and we were unable to attend the re-scheduled final walk through. Maria attended in our place, met with the construction manager, provided us with a detailed write up outlining repairs still to be completed and then followed up with the construction manager two days later to confirm all required repairs and touch-ups had been completed in a satisfactory manner. She provided us with photos that documented the home was finished in an acceptable manner. My wife and I had complete faith in Maria’s ability to help us complete our purchase and she exceeded all our expectations. We always knew Maria was looking out for our best interests and although the entire process took almost 2 years Maria stayed actively involved in representing us with the builder through all phases of the new construction process. We would highly recommend Maria as a realtor for the Florida market.
