Mackenzie Longueuil is a Sarasota native with a wealth of knowledge in the global business community. After completing her primary and secondary education locally at Bay Haven, Pine View, and Riverview High School, she headed to Princeton University and then later to The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania for her MBA. Mackenzie worked in investment banking at UBS, venture capital at Atlas Venture, and management consulting at The Boston Consulting Group before returning to her paradise roots in Sarasota. During her 15 years in the northeast, Mackenzie worked with senior executives from across North America and Europe to define strategy, raise funds, drive implementation, and access innovation. Life balance is important. As an active sportsperson with a history of athletic achievement, Mackenzie started rowing in 1994 for Riverview High School and the Sarasota Scullers, where she competed nationally. She was a national champion in 1996 and was later a four-year varsity letter winner on the NCAA Division I Princeton Women’s Crew, where she won gold at The Head of the Charles and Eastern Sprints. Mackenzie was awarded the Class of 1983 Award for effort and positive attitude contributing to the morale of the team. Mackenzie also rowed for Riverside Boat Club while living and working in Boston, stroking the senior women’s eight+ to 2 gold-medal finishes at the Royal Canadian Henley. While at Wharton, Mackenzie co-captained the women’s B field rugby team with a former Princeton rowing teammate. After settling back in Manhattan and working for BCG, she took up competitive cycling as a member of the NY Velocity Women’s Racing Team. Back in her hometown, Mackenzie is passionate about Sarasota and all that it has to offer. She loves introducing others to the year-round gorgeous weather and abundance of activities that are available here. Continuing her need for speed, Mackenzie enjoys cycling across the beautiful John Ringling Bridge and along Longboat Key or spending time on the Sarasota waterways boating with her family. During the winter, Mackenzie heads north on occasion to hit the slopes for her other favorite hobby, downhill skiing. Mackenzie works as a team with her mother, Pat Mudgett, who has 20+ years of experience in real estate and has worked with Michael Saunders & Company since 2001. With Pat’s in-depth and trusted tenure in Sarasota real estate—both managing and selling properties—and Mackenzie’s background in executing transactions and advising on company strategies, the mother-daughter team brings a robust, knowledgeable and passionate professional partnership to their clients.
