Partnered REALTORS® Kristine Bareis and Jeffery Gilman are a dynamic wife-and-husband team with more than 40 years of expertise in new construction, waterfront, beachfront and luxury residential sales on Marco Island. Consistently ranked among the island's top-producing real estate professionals, particularly within the exclusive Cape Marco development, Kris and Jeff have been recognized among the RealTrends top 1.5% of real estate professionals nationally and have received Gulfshore Life's Five-Star Real Estate Agent award for customer satisfaction for 18 consecutive years. Originally from Wisconsin, Kris and Jeff both graduated from the University of Wisconsin with degrees in education. Seeking to leave behind the Midwest's winters, they moved to Marco Island in 1977 and quickly fell in love with the area's distinctive beauty and lifestyle. They began their real estate careers the following year with a goal of introducing others to all the community has to offer. More than four decades later, they still call Marco Island home and have helped thousands of customers find their own piece of paradise. Kris, a broker associate, and Jeff, a sales associate, share an extensive history with the sales, design, development and marketing of Cape Marco. Involved from the development's inception through the completion of its six properties, Kris served as director of sales at Cape Marco from 1991 to 2001, while Jeff served as an onsite sales associate. Their firsthand knowledge of the community, both as real estate professionals and Cape Marco residents, provides an invaluable perspective when representing buyers and sellers in this exclusive beachfront enclave. In 2001, the couple established their own brokerage, specializing in Cape Marco resales and building their business around personalized, service-oriented representation. Their firm achieved significant market share within Cape Marco before they joined Premier Sotheby's International Realty, where they continue to provide an elevated experience for their valued customers while leveraging the brand's powerful global network, distinguished marketing and exceptional resources. Kris and Jeff are members of the Marco Island Area Association of REALTORS® and the Naples Area Board of REALTORS®.
