Born and raised in Florence, SC, Heather Mackey graduated from Clemson University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Marketing. Upon graduating, she began her career as a representative in pharmaceutical sales with one of the world’s largest biotech companies. After three years in sales and three children later, she decided to put her marketing background, passion for people, and knack for home design to use. She became a licensed REALTOR® in 2008, and later founded Mackey Realty in 2021. Throughout her years in real estate, transparency and trust has always been paramount for her when forming relationships with clients. Her sharp attention to contract details, and thorough analysis of a fluctuating housing market is imperative to her when it comes to client’s needs and success. Since relocating to Charlotte in 2001, Mackey has called the Eastover, Myers Park and Dilworth neighborhoods her home. She is the proud mom to her three daughters Cameron, Liza, and Caroline, and in her spare time, which isn’t much, she enjoys the outdoors, traveling and spending time with her friends and family.
