We cannot say enough wonderful things about Gail Spreen. Selling our longtime home was both an important financial transaction and an emotional life transition, and Gail was exactly the person we needed beside us. Gail brought an extraordinary combination of experience, intelligence, calm and tenacity to every part of the process. Our sale had its share of complications and unexpected turns, and Gail never became rattled. She was strategic when strategy mattered, candid when we needed honest advice, responsive when we needed answers, and always kept our best interests at the center of every decision. What impressed us most was that Gail never treated our home—or us—as simply another listing. She understood the value of what we were selling and was willing to advocate for it. When our first deal fell apart, she helped us regroup, relist and move forward with confidence. We ultimately closed with an excellent cash offer, and there is no question in our minds that Gail’s judgment and guidance helped get us there. But beyond the result, Gail is simply a wonderful person to have in your corner. She is warm, funny, reassuring, incredibly knowledgeable about Chicago real estate, and absolutely formidable when she needs to be. If a friend asked us who we would trust with one of the biggest financial and personal transitions of their lives, we wouldn’t hesitate: Gail Spreen. We are enormously grateful to her and recommend her wholeheartedly.
