This was my first time buying a home. I've always been anxious to go through the process, wanting to make sure I was as prepared as possible. Finally my fiance and I decided to take the plunge, and so we reached out to Dawn to kick things off. Professionally, Dawn was always on top of things, helping us by suggesting properties and hopping onto those that stuck out to us. She was always available for comment and questions, even during times I felt I was being intrusive. And yet, she made sure that we knew what we were getting into - especially helpful considering our investment was almost 10 hours away. And personally, Dawn has always taken the initiative to make sure we feel welcome in the community, and point us in the proper direction for anything local and easing us into home ownership. I don't know if Dawn was my realtor, or the first family friend we've made in OBX. If I ever convince family, friends or coworkers to pick up and come this way, she'll be the next phone call I make.
