I first reached out to Dana on Zillow, just trying to get my head around the game plan for buying a beach house. We officially met a few weeks later and spent a weekend touring a bunch of homes, and let me tell you—we never felt like just another client on a roster. Dana took the time to really listen to what my wife was looking for, while simultaneously balancing what I wanted—and believe me, those two playbooks weren't always on the same page. She has the kind of patience that would make a saint look cranky. I came armed with a spreadsheet and a "must-have" list longer than a halftime speech, which I’m sure didn't make her job any easier. We spent a lot of time scrolling through photos, but you quickly realize that a listing gallery is a bit like a pre-game highlight reel—it doesn't always show you the full story. Some places look like a palace but turn out to be a bit of a fixer-upper, and others... well, they just look exactly as rough as they are. But that’s where Dana really stepped up. She took the time to truly get to know us and our big, beautiful, chaotic family. As we scouted from Surfside up to North Myrtle Beach, she was our "local scout" in the truest sense—steering us away from the hectic zones and finding the spots where our lives could actually fit. She wasn’t just trying to close a deal; she was looking for a place where our family could actually thrive. She knew that for my wife and me, "home" isn’t just a building—it’s a feeling—and she didn’t stop until she found it. It didn't happen overnight. Living eight hours away, we couldn't exactly "pitch up" whenever a new listing dropped. But as Dana learned our rhythm, she became our eyes and ears. She even bridged the great tech divide, setting up Zoom meetings so our Androids could talk to her Apple. We actually bought our home without ever physically stepping foot inside. We did the initial viewing via video and the final walkthrough the same. We didn't see the place in person until we had the keys in our hands. That takes a massive amount of trust, and Dana earned every bit of it. The Verdict: If you’re looking to buy and need someone who cares more about the people than the commission, Dana is your person. She didn’t just find us a house; she helped us find a home. She’s a "Diamond" through and through.
