If you're looking for a loan officer who is knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely invested in her clients, I cannot recommend Ashley Ortega and her team at CMG Financial highly enough. Ashley helped me finance my first home several years ago, so when it came time to purchase our forever home, there was never any question who we wanted to work with again. She had already earned our trust, and this experience only reinforced why. From the very beginning, Ashley was professional, proactive, and incredibly responsive. No matter how many questions we had or how quickly something needed to be done, she was always available and kept us informed every step of the way. She worked seamlessly alongside our realtor, Scott Booth, and together they made an incredible team. Their communication and coordination gave us complete confidence throughout the entire process and ultimately helped us close on our new home in just a 21-day escrow. One thing that really stood out was how fiercely Ashley advocated for us. Our realtor even shared that the listing agent commented on Ashley's persistence and professionalism. She went above and beyond to reassure them that we were well-qualified, fully pre-approved, and that our financing was solid. Knowing she was in our corner gave us tremendous peace of mind in such a competitive market. What I appreciated most about Ashley was that she never made us feel like just another file on her desk. She took the time to thoroughly explain every step of the lending process, breaking down all of our financing options, different purchase price scenarios, and exactly how each decision would impact our monthly payment and long-term financial picture. She has a remarkable ability to make what can feel like overwhelming financial decisions easy to understand. At no point did we ever feel pressured into making a decision. Instead, Ashley presented the facts, patiently answered every question we had (and there were plenty!), and empowered us to choose the option that was best for our family. Because of her transparency, honesty, and expertise, we felt informed and confident every step of the way. I also want to recognize Jonathan, who was an absolute pleasure to work with. As someone who isn't particularly tech-savvy, some of the document requests and banking requirements felt overwhelming at times. Jonathan was endlessly patient, kind, and willing to walk me through every step without ever making me feel like I was asking too many questions. Whether it was retrieving documents from my bank or navigating online systems, he took the time to ensure I understood everything. His calm demeanor and willingness to help made what could have been a frustrating process so much easier. Purchasing a home is one of the biggest financial decisions most people will ever make, and having someone you completely trust guiding you through that process is invaluable. Ashley didn't just help us secure a loan—she helped us make one of the biggest financial decisions of our lives with complete confidence. We always knew she was looking out for our best interests, and because of that, we never questioned whether we were in good hands. Buying a home comes with plenty of moving parts, and the lending process is often one of the most stressful pieces. Ashley and Jonathan somehow made it feel organized, efficient, and surprisingly seamless. Beyond their expertise, they are simply wonderful people to work with—professional, approachable, patient, and genuinely invested in their clients' success. You can tell they truly care, and that makes all the difference. We are incredibly grateful for everything Ashley and Jonathan did for our family. Their professionalism, dedication, communication, and genuine care made this experience so much smoother than we ever expected. They have earned our trust for life, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a lender they can trust with one of the biggest investments they'll ever make.
