I had the pleasure of working with Andrew and Alison, and I can honestly say they made selling my house suspiciously easy.
First, these two are extremely professional, both in the way they conduct themselves and the way they dress. They clearly know how to carry themselves. They both graduated from KU School of Marketing, which, as I understand it, is better than community college. 😄
I chose Andrew because of his persistence, in the best possible way. He consistently checked in with me without being pushy, and it took seven months of those check-ins before I was ready to list my house. Most of the other agents I contacted disappeared after the initial conversation. Andrew apparently has the patience of a saint…or just really good follow-up skills.
Before choosing them, I did my homework. I looked them up, researched their sales, and discovered they had sold about eight times as many homes as some of the other agents I was considering. The numbers certainly got my attention.
Then came the actual sale.
I can’t decide whether Andrew and his mother, Alison – yes, I probably should have mentioned earlier that they’re mother and son – are extremely good at marketing or just incredibly lucky. They didn’t even have to take pictures or print brochures because they listed my house as “Coming Soon,” and it sold for full price the week before the listing was supposed to go live. Either way, I’ll take the results.
Of course, there is a downside to being this good at selling houses: they made me homeless. 😂
After living in my previous house for 56 years, I no longer have a home. I have now entrusted them with finding me a replacement house, so I sincerely hope they’re as good at finding houses as they are at selling them.
My requirements are simple: I’m looking for a ranch-style home close to downtown Lee’s Summit, preferable 2-3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. More importantly, I want a home that has some charm and that the previous owner actually took pride in – someone who maintained it and cared for it. Unlike me, apparently, who decided to sell my house when it started to need maintenance. 😂 If anyone knows of one, please let Andrew and Alison know.
Let’ see if they can pull off miracle number two.
I also have one important clarification for the real estate industry: there is no such thing as luxury vinyl floors. There are vinyl floors. That’s it. 😄
I highly recommend Andrew and Alison – just don’t let them list your house unless you’re prepared to move quickly.
